Managing CP notifications
What is a notification in Collaboration Platform (CP)?
A notification is an email or activity note that is transmitted by the platform. In CP there are three types of notifications:
1 Direct notification
resulting in an email sent to one or many users.
2 Weekly notification / newsletter
weekly email summarizing the previous week activities of all the workspace you subscribed to, including:
Documents: new and updated (new version or metadata updates)
Discussions: new topics or new comments on an existing topic(s).
3 Automatic notification
available in two formats:
accessible within the CP interface (using the top right bell button)
and as an email.
Managing the weekly newsletter
CP allows users to personalize and improve their user experience: using your settings page you can subscribe to all workspaces you are interested in.
Unsubscribing from automatic notifications
The automatic notifications were designed to keep you informed of important posts, you can manage your subscriptions from your settings page.
Notifying all users of a workspace
You can notify all users from the MEMBERS tab of your workspace, select Send notifications then click on List Groups and choose the workspace members you want to notify.
