NC Admin
a. The NC Administrators are individuals within an NC who manage access, roles and permissions via the IEC Expert Management (EMS). This privilege is visible in EMS under an individual’s profile, in the tab “Permissions”.

NC Accreditor
a. A NC Accreditor is responsible for the accreditation for particular meetings, of Delegates and the Head of delegation from their NC. During the General Meeting the Accreditor will be the NC Secretary by default.
b. MRS sends email notifications to the Accreditor, as reminders of pending registrations.

HC Organizer
a. NC staff from the host country, who provides the necessary meeting information and organization required to open the online registration process for certain meeting types.
b. Information includes, but is not limited to: scheduling meetings and events, providing hotel and event information or a list of countries requiring visas.
c. It is possible to assign the roles of NC Accreditor and HC Organizer to the same person, provided that the NC is hosting the meeting.

TC/SC Secretary
a. The Officer who has been officially nominated in this role; this person is responsible for some specific cases of accreditation of delegates. Other TC/SC Officers (e.g. Chair and Assistant Secretary) may carry out this role if necessary.

Participant
a. A person who wishes to register to an IEC meeting using the MRS.

General Meeting Administrators
a. IEC staff members who have administration rights in MRS for the GM.

Professional Conference Organizer (PCO)
a. For each General Meeting, the Host Committee generally contracts a Professional Conference Organizer (PCO). The PCO is granted access to the Meeting Registration System (MRS) and is supported by the IEC General Meeting team, which provides training, guidance, and any additional information required for the effective management of registrations and related activities.

Host Committee (HC)
a. The National Committee which organizes/hosts a meeting (plenary, General, and some others).

Reception Desk
a. The Host Committee may install a reception desk to check in participants who attend a meeting. This can be the case for large meetings, for example the IEC General Meeting, and arrangements can be put in place to ensure registration is recorded in MRS as needed.
