Accreditation by NCs for plenary TC/SC meetings

Each NC shall add an accreditor to each TC/SC plenary meeting.

This accreditor ensures appropriate accreditation based on your membership (P/O) and required roles (e.g. Delegate and Head of delegation):

Names and organizations have been removed from the image above to protect data privacy.

The MRS will notify (via email from meetings@iec.ch) all NC admins from a country of new plenary meeting registrations and ask them to approve or assign an accreditor.

If / when the NC Admin(s) nominates an Accreditor for the TC/SC meeting, they will no longer receive the notifications for the pending participants to approve. The Accreditors will instead then receive the alerts/reminders. These notifications include a reminder two weeks prior to the meeting, to P-members, to assign a Head of Delegation and (if needed) again two days prior to the meeting. O-members will receive similar notifications.

Experts are automatically registered for their working group (WG) meetings in accordance with the appointments made by National Committees in the Expert Management System. Participation at these meetings does not require further approval nor an accreditor to be appointed.

The participation of TC/SC Officers (i.e. Chair, Secretary, Assistant Secretary) at plenary meetings of their committee does not require any approval.
