There are two different scenarios for label updates:
-
Existing labels: Labels that are already available in the application are automatically updated every hour, provided that the translation is correct.
-
New labels: Labels associated with new features can be delivered as part of an upcoming OSD release and should be translated by the contributors, ideally before the release date.
Existing labels
Once translation is completed in POEditor, the labels are updated hourly to ensure correctness in OSD.
If a translation is marked as Fuzzy - by a user for review or by in POEditor for technical reason - it will then need to be corrected before it can be included in a subsequent update.
For further details, please refer to Collaborating in POEditor .
New labels
New labels associated with upcoming features should be translated before the corresponding OSD release. To easily identify any labels that still require translation, use the Untranslated filter in POEditor.
Please ensure that all new labels are translated before the release.
If a translation is missing at release time, the application will fall back to the English label, ensuring that the feature continues to work as expected. The missing translation can then be completed and included in a subsequent update.
